Fees follow the 2026 Alberta Dental Fee Guide where applicable. We direct bill most insurance plans.
Your implant, start to finish
You will know what happens at every stage before we start.
We scan your jaw, check your gums and bone, and walk you through your options and the full price in writing.
The post is placed using a surgical guide made from your scan. You choose freezing or sedation, whichever keeps you comfortable.
Once the bone has fused to the post, we fit a custom crown shaped and
shaded to match the teeth beside it.

Most people are more nervous about the surgery than they need to be. Implant placement is usually shorter and quieter than patients expect, and it is done with the area completely frozen. If you would rather not be aware of any of it, Dr. Brendan Lee provides sedation options and will talk you
through what suits you.

3D scan at your consult tells us for certain, and you will
have your answer that same visit.
At Apollonia, a straightforward single tooth implant is $4,499 all in. That covers the surgery, the implant post, the crown, the 3D scan and the surgical guide. Cases needing a bone graft, sinus lift or extraction first cost more, and that total is quoted in writing before treatment
starts.

The area is fully frozen, so you should not feel the placement itself. Most patients describe the days afterward as milder than an extraction. Sedation is available if you would prefer to be unaware of the procedure.
Placement itself is usually a single appointment. The
implant then needs time to fuse with the bone before the
crown goes on, which for most people is a few months.
We will give you a timeline for your case at the consult.
That is common, especially if the tooth has been missing for a while. A bone graft or sinus lift can rebuild enough support to place the implant safely. If your case needs one, we will price it before we begin.
In most cases, no. The scan, the surgery and the crown are all done here in our South East Edmonton office by our general dentists. If a case is better handled by a specialist, we will tell you that plainly.
Coverage varies a lot between plans. We direct bill most insurers and can send a predetermination so you know what your plan will contribute before you commit.
With good hygiene and regular checkups, implants commonly last decades. The crown on top may need replacing sooner. Gum health is the biggest factor, which
is why we keep you on a regular hygiene schedule.
