No — the area is fully numbed with local anesthetic, and we discuss sedation options for anxious patients or more complex extractions.
Most simple extractions heal within a week; surgical extractions like wisdom teeth may take 1–2 weeks with proper aftercare.
Stick to soft, cool foods for the first day or two and avoid using a straw, which can disturb healing.
In most cases yes — we’ll discuss options like an implant, bridge or denture to prevent shifting of neighboring teeth.
